Beautiful.
Beautiful.
yayyyy
calm before the storm type beat
Yeah, I'm kinda tired with stereotypical rollers so I decided to make this - kinda wanting to surprise people with something new, even if it's amateur-ish.
MY EARS
yeah, im not that good at making music.
this makes me want to chew my water and wash it down with steak
dude its fucking midnight you can't make me laugh like this AAAAAAAAAAAA
Beautiful, hypnotic. Amazing transitions. Wonderfully atmospheric. I don't have a lot of other words to describe just how fantastic this is. 1:23 the release of that high-end? The first piano break? Emotional, heavy, slaps. If I could give you five stars twice, I would.
This comment made my day, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I didn't know DESKPOP had a Newgrounds account! This track is awesome, with great vocals, lyrics, and really groovy. :)
We’re pretty new but loving the community so far!
Awesome loop. That lead slaps, super funky bass.
thank you fren
Your atmosphere is wonderful and I can really get lost in it! Personally wish the drums came through more during the big moments. They're very dynamic which is great for the low somber parts, but seem to get lost when everything is going.
thanks for the review! i totally agree, i think some of the instruments are mixed too loud and it's taking away from the drums. i'll keep working at it!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. I was enjoying it all up to 1:16. What happened? Everything started getting out tune in the background, as if a whole other song started to play behind it. I don't understand what happened there. D: Explain, please?
It was sort of a Crossfader experiment I was trying out, testing some things out. Sorry if you don't like it.
This is AMAZING for being performed live without being quantized. It also gives the track a nice tad of swing. :D
2:01, loving the scratchy into the vibrato lead. <3 Old school sounds, bruhda. It gets a bit too high freq. on my speakers at 2:18, but these things were never excellent with treble, and besides, that octave is probably the best place to go with the lead.
All-in-all, I enjoyed it very much, Durn. c: You rock!
Thanks Technosaurus. Glad you dig the second half, I do love some soulful house. :) You are indeed correct about the highs, I've since duplicated and split the lead and chords into two separate tracks and eq'd the highs down on the lead. I'm hoping this has solved the issue though my ears suck for high-freq. so I'll leave it up to you people to tell me! :)
